There is an annual Grand Depart on the Grand Loop, for those that are interested in beginning their self-supported adventure at the same time as others.
100% self-supported; there is no support provided to riders during the Grand Depart.
No prizes or awards, this is purely for the love of big dumb rides and challenging yourself to accomplish wild things.
The 2025 Grand Loop will leave from Nucla, CO on Friday May 30th, 2025.
Registration opens on Feb 1st.
